Again with the mom jeans, but these have a bit more of an edge to them. And fit a bit more loose compared to the other pair.
It's funny, because I accidentally paired the wrong color jeans with this outfit and I actually like how the darker wash looks with the red and gray as opposed to the light wash jeans.

STYLE TIP: The color of your jeans do matter, it makes a difference in how your outfit looks. Yes, jeans are a neutral piece....to a certain extent. Play around with some combinations and see how much your eyes gravitate to one combo more than the other. If you're really committed, google what color jeans go best with the color shirt you are wearing. You'd be surprised.

Right across the street from Tout Suite, if you park in the lot behind it as opposed to the side (aka the front) parking....you can see it from that parking lot. Not sure what building that is, but they've got some interesting graffiti art on it aside from the #TEAMHOUSTON pictured above.

My ex-boyfriend was a major sneakerhead and these were one of kicks he put me onto, a pair of fresh Nike Janoski's. Very similar to Vans classics. I've had these shoes for awhile, a few years actually. I take pride in how clean I can keep my sneakers. But, these also aren't my everyday wear shoes despite the tag saying it's 'for daily use' 😂.

It was either these or a pair of fire engine red hightop Converse, these pair better with the look because the hightop reached right where my jeans were rolled up and it just made the outfit crowded. Freeing up some space around the ankles relaxed the look a bit more.

This came from a super easy and customizable DIY project, but if you like the shirt to make your own, you can get it at the GAP. It's their boyfriend v-neck. The reviews claim it runs big, it does, but the best way to describe it....it runs wide. The shirt doesn't fall as long as I hoped, but it's still got that comfy loose fit I wanted.

Last notes, you probably wont find me wearing this too often. Unless I'm feeling in an extra macho, don't 'eff with me mood. It reminded me of the days when I was a young kid and my dad would dress me as a boy, he's probably the one of the inspirations/reasons why I have a slight edge to me. This look on the other hand, was a bit too rough for my preference.

But hey, that's the process of getting to know yourself and your style.
