What to Wear to Coachella: Mediterranean Goddess Outfit
Either you’ve went to Coachella and you’re having Weekend 1 music festival withdrawals or you’re getting ready for weekend 2 and looking at any and everything Coachella. Neither of those? Let me guess, major FOMO? I understand, lol.
If you caught last week’s Coachella outfit post, then you’ll notice this one is a totally different direction and goes a little bit more with the looks you typically may see at Coachella music festival.
it borderlines a Mediterranean vibe.

Not only that, the location where we shot this look at had so much potential...it's ridiculous. I was pretty stoked to get my hair braided for this one, not to mention Cach worked out some voodoo magic because I've never seen my edges sooo laid before. But, it gets better. They stayed like that for quite some time until I had to re-up on some products.
Style key learning here, black sandals would have been better (personally speaking). I would have loved to give this more of an edgy twist with some black sandals of some sort with barely chunky silver hardware. Amen. These sandals I like, but figuring out a good way to lace them to a point where they don't slip off, choke the circulation out of my legs, and without looking weird was a challenge in it itself. It worked out, but make sure you get in a little practice before wearing them out for the first time.
On top of that, I loved how the necklace I made paired perfectly with it. Aside from it not wanting to cooperate from time to time since it wanted to twist and turn on one side (I'm a few notes above lowkey OCD). My mistake though, so I'll be sure to pass that lesson onto you all.
Goddess of Dreams Choker Necklace✨
Disclaimer: This necklace does not come with magical powers, you must supply your own magic.
Some beaded jewelry to place on my arm just seemed right, the armband is from one of my usual spots in Houston. Be warned though, you can be in that place for hours and still want to look around. It's a lot to digest for sure. The thick ring I got from a boutique that's no longer in business 😢 and the opal ring from Spirit Quest in Old Town Spring 🔮 .
Oh yeah, the dress (it's from Forever 21). A friend gave me this dress at a time that couldn't have been better. It's as if the universe was conspiring for me to do this post because I had yet to find something to go with the Coachella themed dreamcatcher choker necklace I plotted on making. Then, my friend was talking about how Plato's Closet did her wrong. Oh well, *Kanye shrug* their loss.
